On 26 June 2023, Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint (VP MEET) officiated the book launching titled “Social Innovations for Millenials” at the Cyberjaya campus. The project was also attended by Dr. Ridzwan Bakar, the project leader and representatives from Bank Islam namely En Nazri Chik (Chief Financial Inclusion Officer) as the sponsor and collaborators of the book.
The publication, which is an initiative by Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) and Faculty of Management (FOM- CeCORE) compiles articles from the broad perspective of social finance, social entrepreneurs, technology, and general knowledge. The articles are contributed by MMU and non-MMU academics which addresses the issues of how social innovations help introduce new societal practices and builds sustainable economies and lifestyle. Among other attendees were Puan Hayati Othman (Senior Director HCM), Dr. Hasni Mohd Hanafi, Deputy Dean of FOM, Ms. Rapiah Mohd Zaini, Editor of the publication, and other MMU officers.
