The Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) held a successful two-day event exhibiting the students’ projects of the Advertising Design programme on 20 and 21 March 2023. Entitled “MADUSA: Advertising Design Final Year Showcase 2023”, there were 23 exceptional projects featured at the FCM Atrium.
The showcase also received a surprise visit from YB Zairil Khir Johari, a member of the Penang State Executive Council and MMU Permata Dunia together with Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, commending the students for their effort in the project and the showcase.
The event also invited a special guest as a speaker, Mr. Ainol Amriz Ismail who is a Director, Editor, and Trainer from URTV. Mr. Ainol shared his vast experience and insights about the media industry, valuable information about the challenges as well as skills needed to excel in the field. The audience was fully engaged during the informative and entertaining session.
All in all, the event was a huge success because it offers an excellent platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity as well as great networking opportunities among industry experts, academic staff, and students.
