Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Magiswary Dorasamy, our academic staff from the Faculty of Management (FOM) was invited to deliver an inaugural address on Frugal Innovation and conduct NVivo hands-on software session, recently. Organised by the School of Management, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College (Affiliated to the University of Madras) India, the sessions were conducted in conjunction with the 5th Confluence International Conference on India’s Trillion Dollar Digital Opportunity (ITDO) 2023 from 13 until 14 February 2023.
More than 100 participants including MBA students and academics participated in the conference. The conference aimed to articulate the vision, potential size, and drivers of India’s digital economy which featured top industry speakers such as Director of IS Global Service Center, Managing Director of DERBY, Chief Manager of NSE Academy, Vice President of EMIDS and Deputy Director of SSC NASSCOM. The event also appeared on the main page of the Indian Express newspaper dated 16 February 2023. Kudos to Ts. Dr. Magiswary for getting the recognition and bringing MMU’s name into the international arena
