Multimedia University (MMU) was honoured to receive the presence of His Excellency Axel Cruau to grace the closing event of French Cinema: A Sneak Peek at MMU on 30 March 2023. The event was jointly organised by two faculties namely the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) and Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) and The Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur. The event was also supported by the Embassy of France in Malaysia.
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU extended a warm welcome to the guest of honour and other invitees to the event. The two-week exhibition of French movie posters started on 15 March until 30 March 2023 and it was open to the public. The event also continued with a French film screening at MMU Cinema. Also attending the event were Datuk Kamil Othman, Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS); Emmanuelle Marchand, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of France in Malaysia; Violaine Dupic, Director of the Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur, MMU management committee members, staff and students.
