A team from Alumni Engagement, Career and Entrepreneurship Development (ACE) made a trip to Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) in Perak on 15 February 2023. Representing the team were Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, Director of ACE together with its Deputy Director, Ms. Putri Syaidatul Akma Mohd Adzmi, and other ACE officers also present during the session.
The team received a warm reception from Mr. Zamri Abdullah, Manager of the Centre for Student Development (CSD)’s Technopreneurship Office. He also briefed the ACE team on the initiatives and activities organised by his office. The ACE team also had the chance to visit some places around the campus including hostels, library, Garage@21 which consist of all-in-one co-working space and makerspace, and others.
Two of our student-entrepreneurs of MMU Foodie; Ms. Nurzafirah Syazana from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) and Muhammad Irfan Mustapha from the Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC) participated in the UTP’s Hari Kantin 2023 on the same day. The event is organised every semester where all students are encouraged into entrepreneurship and students from other universities are also welcome to join the event.
