A group of MMU student leaders congregated and participated in a networking session called Slay in Action! at Iconik CoWorking Space, Petaling Jaya on 18 February 2023. Led by Mr. Jeffrey Quek Shue Yew, our student from the Faculty of Business (FOB), who is also the President of the Multimedia University Business Society (MUBS), the event was also attended by other students from various faculties namely Thaichayani Subramaniam, Sri Vaniswary Manymaran, Ong Jun Wei, Kuiek Xing An, Yeo Yue Xuan, Lim Di Xuan, Shalnii Vijayan, Lim Min Ying, Reyshinder Ramish, and Raisa Alam
Organised by the Malaysian Hub, the event served as an avenue for undergraduate student leaders from local and private universities as well as independent organisations worldwide to connect with each other and industry leaders. The event also helped the participants to explore and gain knowledge regarding their fields of interest ranging from business, economics, finance, and technology.
During the half-day session, the participants underwent several interactive activities and games including a sharing session by special guests from various industries. Furthermore, the participants also had the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and made a presentation session where all student leaders shared their leadership experiences in front of the audience. This event has surely benefited our students in obtaining more industrial insights and further developing their leadership skills.
