MMU Student- Athletes Win Sports Championships

MMU Melaka team was announced as the overall champion when the team won 10 gold, 6 silver, and  2 bronze medals at the MASISWA Southern Zone Championship 2022 from 9 until 11 December 2022. A total of 42 MMU student-athletes competed in various sports categories including netball, futsal, and others in Melaka. Organised by Majlis Sukan IPTS Malaysia (MASISWA) and University College of Agroscience Malaysia (UCAM), our team bagged medals for bowling, chess, and table tennis. 

On top of that, the MMU rugby team or known as MMU Hornbills was also crowned Champion Plate at the MASISWA- MMU Rugby 10s Championship 2022 on 22nd December 2022. The competition was participated by 15 teams from private universities nationwide at MMU Melaka campus. This was the second time MMU Melaka to host the competition, when the previous competition was held in 2018.
