Prof. Dr. Mardeni Roslee from the Research Management Centre (RMC) and academic staff of the Faculty of Engineering (FOE) was invited as Keynote Speaker at the Smart Melaka International Conference (SMIC) 2022 at Hatten Hotel Melaka, recently.
With its theme “5G Technology: Accelerating to the Path of Digital Decade”, the conference featured renowned technologists and industry experts in garnering an understanding of the strategic blueprints of Melaka’s digital transformation plan as well as a platform for the audience to share ideas, solutions, and networking. The event also brought together industry experts, service providers, government agencies, academicians, and organizations with six themes of 5G Technology, Smart City, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technology, and Web 3 & Metaverse.
The conference was moderated by Prof. Lim Heng Siong from RMC and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). The event was officiated by Datuk Seri Utama Haji Sulaiman Md Ali, Chief Minister of Melaka and Datuk Rais Datuk Wira Yasin, Exco Member of Education, Technology and Telecommunication Melaka.
