Industry Experts Evaluate Students’ Prototype Products

Two representatives from Dyson Malaysia namely Mr. Azri Mahsan, Motor and Pick Up Systems Lead, and Mr Chee Wayner, Lead Technology Development Engineer were invited to become the guest judges for the final assessment for EME4316 Additive Manufacturing Project subject on 11 January 2023. The session was attended by 27 students from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). 

The session kicked off with the prototype product presentations by 8 groups of students. The students elaborated on their ideas for their products in terms of design, manufacture, and function. The judges provided their comments and evaluations based on the functionality of the products to solve the problems. This session was very helpful and beneficial for the students to gain insightful comments for product improvement and attained tips and advice from industry experts.
