Year 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of our beloved university, Multimedia University (MMU). To commemorate this important date, MMU hosted the anniversary celebration and award ceremony for staff who have served the varsity for the past 25 years.
The occasion was graced by the presence of YABhg. Tun Siti Dr. Hasmah Mohd Ali, Ibu Universiti and the first Chancellor of MMU; Academician Tan Sri Dr. Zakri Abdul Hamid, Pro-Chancellor; Mr. Imri Mokhtar, GCEO of TM; Tan Sri Dr. Rahamat Bivi Yusoff, Chairman of MMU BOG; Mr. Balasingham A. Namasiwayam, BOG member and Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rafi Mohd Eshaq, the former MMU’s President.
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU welcomed the honourable guests and extended his appreciation for joining the MMU community in celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the university.
During the occasion, Mr. Imri Mokhtar also launched the commemorative book entitled “Our Journey in Producing Digital Talents 25 Years of Excellence”. The 145-page book highlights on MMU’s journey from its early days until now.
The event also celebrated more than 100 staff who have served MMU from its inception until now. En. Imri Mokhtar presented plaques and certificates to the long-service staff during the event. The event was also enlivened with a series of performances and it was also attended by staff and students.
