The Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC) successfully concluded the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) with 15 participants from Bangladesh on 7th October 2022. The five-day programme was also supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and Axiata Group Berhad at the Cyberjaya campus. The closing ceremony was graced by His Excellency Mr. Md Golam Sarwar, the High Commissioner Bangladesh to Malaysia.
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU also present during the ceremony and congratulated the participants for completing the course successfully. Prof. Mazliham also presented the certificate of completion to all participants. In his speech, Prof. Dato’ hopes that the exposure and experience of getting insights regarding ICT and the digital economy will be fully utilised for their country’s development.
Also attending the event were Ms. Hafizah Abdullah, Undersecretary of International Cooperation and Development Division of MOFA; Mr. Vivek Sood, Joint Acting Group CEO/ Group Chief Financial Officer of Axiata Group Berhad; Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Special Tasks; Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (SMART); Dr. Ong Sue Lyn, Dean of FAC; Mr. Norkhairul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer of Cnergy, trainers and other MMU officers.
