The Faculty of Business (FOB) in collaboration with Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Melaka (JPNM) concluded the first series of the Knowledge Transfer Programme on Digital Education at the IBIZ & TRADE lab at the Melaka campus, recently.  A total of 121 veteran educators from Melaka schools and academic institutions including Kolej Vokasional took part in the workshop that was held from 11 until 13th October 2022.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, also welcomed the program participants and said that MMU hopes to work with JPNM as a strategic partner to establish more activities and events that improve the education sector. Led by Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, 18 FOB academic and non-academic staff members have contributed to the achievement of this project as module creators, trainers, facilitators, and members of the working committee. During the workshop, two modules on the practical usage of the DELIMA 2.0 platform and Google Classroom were taught.

It is hoped that the workshop will enhance the use of the DELIMA 2.0 platform and Google Classroom, thereby supporting the government’s efforts to foster digitalisation in the education system. This programme is initiated following the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Strategic Partnership between MMU and JPNM this year. As a prominent university focusing on the Digital Future, MMU will constantly lend a helping hand to community digitalisation initiatives.
