On 12th October 2022, Students Lifestyle and Experience (STyLE) hosted an appreciation night for the athletes for bringing medals not only for the university but also for the country at AMES Hotel in Melaka. A total of 75 athletes were feted for their involvement at national and international sports competitions. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud graced this special occasion and presented tokens of appreciation to 19 athletes for winning 31 medals from various sports competitions during the event.
In his speech, Prof. Dato’ complimented the efforts and commitment of the athletes for giving their best during the competitions. Prof. Dato’ also hoped that this recognition would motivate the athletes to work even harder in achieving excellence in their sports activities. Also attending the event were Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED); MMU Management Committee Members; Puan Sri Kusuma Wati Mohd Daud, Director of STyLE, Students’ Representative Council members and MMU officers.
