Multimedia University (MMU) through its Faculty of Business (FOB) was honoured to be one of the co-host partners of the 3rd International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation 2022 (ICBSI 2022) from 19th until 20th October 2022. The ICBSI 2022 is organised by the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), in collaboration with Multimedia University (MMU); Graduate School, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University; School of Economics and Business, Telkom University; and the Faculty of Business, Curtin University Malaysia.
Associate Professor Dr. Tan Cheng Ling, the chairman of the 3rd International Conference on Business Sustainability and Innovation 2022 (ICBSI 2022) kicked start the conference by delivering her welcoming remarks to the audience. In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan explained on this year’s conference theme “Nurturing Business Sustainability and Innovation in The Digital Era”, which is appropriate for the current business environment that the COVID-19 crisis has territorially impacted.
Prof. Dr. Azlan Amran, Dean of the Graduate School of Business, officiated the launching ceremony of ICBSI 2022. The conference was graced by two keynote speakers namely Professor Dr. Tan Kim Hua (Nottingham University, UK) with his speech entitled “Sustainable Transformative Innovation in Meeting the Challenge of Supply Chain Disruptions: Time to Response vs Time to Recover” and Dr Darian Low Eng Swee (Malaysia FAF Advisory Board Member, Subway Malaysia; Managing Director for Sullevon Food & Beverages Sdn Bhd, Sullevon F&B (SAB) Sdn Bhd; and Fresh Breaven Sdn Bhd) who spoke about “What Can the F&B Do in this Fuzzy Environment towards Sustainability?”. During the two-day conference, a total of 78 research papers were presented by participants from all over the world, which included 19 papers from FOB.
