On 8th October 2022, the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) launched its FCA’s Foundation Art Exhibition- MOMENTUM at e-Gallery, MMU Cyberjaya. The exhibition was officiated by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU. The exhibition is open for entries from 1st October until 30th October 2022.
‘MOMENTUM’ is the first event that showcases its students’ artwork in the Cyberjaya campus since their relocation from Johor to the main campus last year. This event is also significant as this exhibition is also the last exhibition for Foundation students from FCA as the programme will be merged with Foundation in Creative Multimedia (FCM) programme.
This Foundation Art Exhibition holds a vast array of works created during the classes from 2017, online classes during COVID-19, and present-day in 2022. It compiles creative works from 3 classes namely ‘The Static Image’, ‘The Sequential Image’ and ‘The Moving Image’ in the category of Fine Art, Photography, and Films respectively. It also represents the creative potential of our promising young students as emerging artists and designers.

Amir Shahlan Amiruddin, Dean of FCA; Dr. Lim Kok Yoong, Dean of FCM; Mr. Furqaan Mohd, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs (FCA); Ms. Megan Wonowidjoyo, FCA Foundation Programme Coordinator; Ms Elyna Sharji, e-Gallery Manager; Mr Sahar Salleh and Mr Mohd Hambali, Technicians as well as CAS Student Committee members.
