Career Connect initiated to engage with two more industry players namely i-Train Malaysia and Systemizer Technic Sdn. Bhd. on 21st September and 4th October 2022, respectively. Representing Career Connect were Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, Director of Alumni Engagement, Career and Entrepreneurship (ACE), Mr. Albert Quek, Deputy Director of ACE and Mr. Faizal Jewari, the engagement further strengthens the relationship between academia and industry as well as explores possible collaborations through several initiatives namely i-Cadet programme, Industry Handshake programme, and internship placement for MMU students and graduates.
The Career Connect team welcomed Mr. Denebe Alradikin Zainal Abidin, Head of Operation & Project of iTrain Malaysia and Ms. Rosanne Tan, Business Development Manager to the office in Cyberjaya campus. As for the second company, the Career Connect team made a visit and was greeted by Mr. Hairie Zairel Oh, Chief Executive Officer of Systemizer Technic Sdn. Bhd. together with his team members namely Mr. Victor Khor, Human Resource Manager and Mr. Stuart Surridge, Director of Automation. It is hoped that these engagement activities will initiate more collaborative efforts between the university and the companies.
