On 14th October 2022, the Multimedia University Business Society (MUBS) together with the Faculty of Business (FOB) organised a Professional Marketing Workshop with the theme of The Magic of Marketing. Mr. Wong Voon Fei, the Founder of Northern Lights Studio Sdn Bhd was invited to share on ‘Digital Era, Digital Business’ and ‘Should Business Focus on Branding or Marketing’. Nearly 80 students across the faculties in Melaka campus participated in the session.
The workshop helped the students to build communication and negotiation skills that they can use in their personal and professional life. The students also were trained to use their analytical skills in achieving their goals in a timely manner and efficiently. On top of that, the students also gained insightful knowledge on how to keep up with the market and compete in the digital world.
Mr Wong Voon Fei, who is a serial entrepreneur, runs an award-winning company, and holds multiple creative works awards.He is passionate about helping experts build a business. Growing up as a person who’s actively involved in drawing, designing, photographing, and filmmaking. He has built up skills that he can quickly monetise at a young age. Today, Voon Fei has transitioned to a marketing consultant and a brand strategist to help scale businesses, turning passion into profits.
Moreover, the session was then followed by a Q&A and Lucky Draw Session with the participants. Also, attending the event was Dr Lye Chun Teck, Dean of Faculty of Business; Ms Nun Shwu Huey, Deputy Dean of Academic and International Relations; Dr Yeo Sook Fern, Deputy Dean of Research and Industrial Collaborations; Ms. Hazlaili Bini Hashim, Club Advisor and Mr Jeffrey Quek Shue Yew, Club President of MUBS.
