A total of 185 participants from five countries namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, India, and Pakistan partook in a two-week of International Virtual Student Exchange Programme, recently. The event was jointly organised by the Faculty of Management (FOM) and the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) together with Universitas Pertamina (UP).

With its theme “Edu Tourism: Technopreneurship for Tomorrow”, the programme exposed the participants to lecture series, modules, and workshops with the assistance of 13 competent trainers from FOM, FCI and UP. In the lecture series, the participants were exposed to topics related to Digital Media in Social Networking, Introduction to Web Development and Industry 4.0. While three modules were delivered during the programme namely Entrepreneurship, Web Development and IR4.0. For the workshop segments, the participants were required to write and pitch their business plans.

In short, the participants engaged in exciting and attractive activities, which also helped to expose hands-on experience for them to develop and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills, readiness to face challenges using technology and addressing business issues. The participants also met with student representatives from MMU and UP during the weekend. They had fun games and quizzes which included the Virtual ASEAN Culture Run, which enabled them to know the culture of Malaysia and Indonesia.
