Career Connect in collaboration with InvestKL successfully organised PENJANA Fit4Work Programme, an upskilling and reskilling training programme from 20th until 23rd September 2022 at the Cyberjaya campus. This four-day training was attended by more than twenty students and alumni from both campuses. Mr. Muhammad Azmi Zulkifli, Chief Executive Officer of InvestKL officiated the programme and delivered his sharing session on the first day of the session.

Fit4Work is a talent training programme under the PENJANA initiative to enhance the essential skillsets of young Malaysian graduates, which is required for the Global Services Industry. InvestKL is amongst the investors from global multinational companies and partners in providing potential recruitment for outstanding trainees upon completion of the programme. The training programme was conducted by professional and certified trainers, where the trainees were exposed to gain insights on the job placement and to match the skills required by the global and local corporations as well as the international corporate environment, Government-Linked Companies (GSC) and Small Medium Enterprise (SME).

The trainees received their certificates of completion at the end of the programme. Also present were Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (VP SEED) and Mr. Albert Quek, Deputy Director of Career Connect. It is hoped that the participants gained insightful knowledge and uplifted their skills in moving forward to the next stage of life.
