The Faculty of Business (FOB) successfully held a drop-in session as an avenue for their students to share their concerns and suggestions about academic matters, recently. This initiative is not only fostering more interaction between faculty members and students but it also is regarded as a platform for the faculty to share the latest development of the university.
The session was attended by approximately 130 undergraduate students from all FOB programmes. In his remarks, Dr. Lye Chun Teck , Dean of FOB welcomed and encouraged the students to engage with the faculty with any inquiries they may have. In the discussion, students actively sought advice and information on various topics, ranging from academic calendar issues to industrial training placements.
The drop-in session was also attended, among others, by Dr. Ng Tuan Hock (Deputy Dean, FOB), Head of Departments (HODs), Industrial Training Coordinators, and Final Year Project Coordinator of the degree programmes (Accounting, Business Administration, and Business and Knowledge Management). It is hoped that the session would further enhance student learning and experience at MMU.
