We are proud to share the achievements of our students at the ASEAN University Games (AUG) in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand which is currently held from 26th July until 6th August 2022. Let us congratulate Tan Li Ting from the Faculty of Management (FOM) for winning the Gold medal and Chua Jia Tien from the Faculty of Law (FOL) for securing the Silver medal for the Chess Women (individual) category. Both of them also played very well together with other national players when they bagged the Gold Medal for the Chess Women (team) category. Low Zheng Yong from the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) also bagged the gold medal for Swimming Men’s 400m Freestyle.
On top of that, Tai Chuan Zhe from the Faculty of Business (FOB) secured the Bronze medal for Badminton Men (individual) and Gold medal for Badminton Men (team). While Christy Teh Xing Ti from FOL won the Silver medal for 4×100 Women Swimming (Freestyle) at the competition. Another two students Muhamad Aliff Mohamad Muhazni from FOM and Wee Yong Gan from FIST are still competing in football and basketball, respectively.
