On 18th August 2022, MMU received a visit from the Delegation of Al-Quds University and Counsellor of Palestine in Malaysia at the Cyberjaya campus. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU welcomed the delegate members and introduced them briefly about the university’s background to the guests. The delegates consisted of Dr. Ahmed Bhais, Counsellor, Embassy of Palestine in Malaysia; Dr. Imad Abu Kishek, President of Al-Quds University; Dr. Orwa Ikrimah Sabri, Dean of Faculty of Qu’ran and Islamic Studies, Al-Quds University and Dr. Sufian Mitani, Futurist, TM R&D.
The visit also served as an avenue for both parties to explore potential collaboration. Also attending the event were Prof. Dr. Ir. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President, Special Task; Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (SMART); Ms. Nur Azurah Rezo, Academic Registrar; Dr. Lim Way Soong, Director of International Relation Office (IRO), Prof. Dr. Wong Chee Onn, Director of Center for Lifelong Education and Learning Innovation (LEARN) and other MMU officers.
