MMU Team Wins 2nd Place at SPcase Competition 2022

Three students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) namely Jogtika Ramasamy, Poovilashini Sugendran, and Raisa Alam as SpaceMakers team won second place in the SPcase Competition on 25^th June 2022.  Mentored by Mr. Vincent Chan, a lecturer from the Faculty of Business (FOB), the team pitched the winning solution that solves the Pizza Hut supply chain issue. The team received a cash prize of RM300, a coupon worth RM30 from Printcious, and toolkits worth RM150 from Monsta.

During the competition, the team proposed a one-stop solution called Data Consolidation and Analytics (DCA). Organised by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the competition is an international intervarsity competition for undergraduates to compete for the best solutions in solving real-world issues.   There were six finalists from different varsities including UTM, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia and others.
