In commemorating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ceremony between MMU and Aeronerve Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd which was held recently at the Melaka campus, the Faculty Engineering and Technology (FET) hosted an industrial talk session which was delivered by Mr. Muslim Abdullah Zaik, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aeronerve. The session that was conducted in hybrid mode was attended by more than 30 participants including FET students and staff. This industrial talk session also attracted participants from the public and industry. Among those who attended the session was Mejar (B) Muhammad Jais, Vice Chief of Peladang, Melaka Tengah.
Organized by Industrial Linkage Committee (ILC) of the faculty, the sharing session enlightened the audience on the current progress and the future prospect of drone technology. He also shared his vast knowledge in operating drones for multiple industrial applications as well as explained the rules and regulations used for industrial standards. Also attending the event were Mr. Azril Hanafi Abdullah Sharwani, Executive Director of Aeronerve; Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Ng Poh Kiat, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Khair Razlan Othman, and other officers.
