On 30th May 2022, MMU received a visit from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Cyberjaya at the Cyberjaya campus. President, Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd. Su’ud, welcomed the school’s delegates led by their principal Mr. Salehin Abdullah.
During the visit, Prof. Mazliham introduced the university and shared it’s recent developments, as well as proposed several potential collaborations between MMU and the school. The delegates toured the campus which include the MMU Studio, Smart Farming lab and the Hyflex & Hyspace labs. Also in attendance were Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President, Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (VP SMART), and Ts. Natalya Rudina Dato’ Shamsuar, Director of Strategic Marketing Department.
SMK Cyberjaya is MMU’s newly appointed Sekolah Angkat, also known as Gems School (Sekolah Generasi Multimedia MMU). It joins 13 existing Gems school nationwide, which were appointed on March 2022. The Gems schools serve as a platform to boost the mastery of Digital Education Transformation, STEM and innovation amongst school students.
