MMU Athletes Win Medals in National Varsity Taekwondo Championship 2022

We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to our athletes for their performances at the National Varsity Taekwondo Championship 2022, recently. Tai Wei Shin from the Faculty of Business (FOB) won the gold medal and Wong De Lek from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) secured the silver medal in the Male Heavyweight category at the competition.

On top of that, Vissharwin Kumar a/l Munian clinched the bronze medal in the Male Lightweight category and he was also selected to represent the national university taekwondo squad in the ASEAN University Games (AUG) in 2023.  Organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, the championship was held at Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Arau, Perlis from 3^rd until 5^th June 2022. Athletes from 20 public and private higher institutions participated in the event.
