FOL Student Wins Silver Medal at Malaysian Chess Federation 2022

Chua Jia Tien, our Faculty of Law (FOL) student, won the silver medal at Malaysian Chess Federation 2022 on 12 June 2022. Jia Tien, who is also the MMU Sports Scholarship recipient, competed with 24 players in the women’s category. Jia Tien received a cash prize of RM300 and a certificate of achievement.

She will also represent our university in the upcoming SUKIPT 2022 in August 2022. Organised by Malaysia Chess Federation, the event was held at Hotel Tenera Bangi, Selangor from 8^th June until 12^th June.
