Equipping Staff & Students with Risk Management Knowledge

On 26 May 2022, a total of 22 staff and students attended a talk entitled “Life and Medical Insurance: Guarantees for the ‘what-ifs’ in Life” organised by the Foundation in Business Department of Faculty of Business (FOB) via hybrid mode.

The session was delivered by Mr. Perry Gan from Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd (NPG Agency Sdn. Bhd.) with the objectives to impart more knowledge about risk management and also to enhance the ability to cope with risk in life.

The speaker started the session by explaining the importance of insurance in risk management and later he introduced the popular types of insurance with a focus on life and medical insurance. Last but not least, he briefly explained how insurance can be used as one of a useful tools for estate planning.
