On 29 March 2022, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) was honoured to receive a visit from Prof. Lim Chee Peng, a Professor of Complex Systems at the Institute of Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation (IISRI), Deakin University (Australia).
He is currently the external examiner for the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electronics majoring in Robotics & Automation programme in FET. During the visit, Prof. Lim shared his precious research experience and recent works with more than 50 students and staff through a virtual research talk entitled “Research and Innovation in Robotic and Intelligent Systems”.
He presented many of his recent research and development works together with his co-researchers at IISRI which focuses on robotics, simulation modelling and haptics solutions for aerospace, automotive, rail, security, logistics and health industries. The audience has been truly impressed and inspired by the state–of–the–art technology demonstrated in the works he shared.
