Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) Alumni Committee had organised the FET Convocation Graduation Party for its graduates Class of 2020 & Class of 2021 on 13 and 21 March 2022 to celebrate FET graduates in conjunction with MMU Convocation Ceremony 2022.
The faculty’s event has been pending for more than two years ever since the COVID-19 pandemic. This year the graduation party was celebrated moderately in adherence to the standard operating procedures (SOP). More than hundreds of FET graduates and their family were invited to the graduation party to celebrate the joyous occasion together with their friends and lecturers.
The FET Best Student Award Ceremony was presented during the FET Graduation Party Class of 2021 on 21 March 2022. Dean of FET, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fazly Salleh Abas presented the FET Best Student Award for the three respective engineering programmes and the award recipients are (listed in no particular order): Mr. Loh Chun Theng (Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electronics majoring in Telecommunications); Mr. Tan Chi Jie (Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electronics majoring in Robotics & Automation) and Mr. Lau Jia Wei (Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Mechanical).

The Faculty would also like to thank the FET Alumni Committee advisor, Dr. Liew Kia Wai (Deputy Dean of Student Experience and Alumni) and his team members for their contribution and support to make the event a success.
