MMU Student Participates in Climate Force 2041 Expedition

Let us congratulate Muhammad Khairul Akmal Adam, our student from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) for being selected to participate in the Climate Force 2041 (CF2041) expedition cruise to study global warming in the South Pole, recently. Muhammad Khairul was chosen as protégé of Dr. Sharifah Mazlina Syed Abdul Kadir, the founder of non-governmental organization (NGO) All Woman Empowerment to Accelerate (Aweta) to be together on a 12-day expedition until 4 April 2022.

The expedition has also involved more than 200 participants from all over the world including the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and others. Through this expedition, both of them will document their experience in an effort to raise awareness among Malaysians as well as to conduct a climate change campaign in universities and schools when they return.
