MMU and Nebula Cowork Space Sdn. Bhd. (Nebula) sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as an effort to prepare students, graduates, and youths in the New Economy. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU, and Ms. Thoe Tze Yeing, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nebula in the signing ceremony at The Square One City, Subang Jaya on 26 February 2022.
Also present Dr. P’ng Hann Cheat, Founder & Director of Nebula, and Prof. Dr.Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President (Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development) of MMU, as well as MMU staff and students. Through this collaboration, MMU’s students and graduates could gain experience and early exposure to the real working environments where it would certainly help in increasing their employability rate.
The MoU also seeks to prepare youths to be business-ready for the digital Malaysian economy. The collaboration comes in two parts, the first of which Nebula offers all MMU students thirty complimentary day passes, worth RM900. It gives our students access to use the Hot-Desk area of Nebula CoWork Space for thirty working days, allowing them to get a taste in entrepreneurship. Secondly, the MoU will also secure some internship placements for a number of MMU students at Nebula including all available small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) under Nebula’s network.
