A total of 13 secondary schools were selected for ‘Sekolah Angkat MMU’ in an event held at Cyberjaya campus on 22 March 2022. The event was graced by Puan Maznah Abu Bakar, Director of Educational Resource and Technology Division from the Ministry of Education (MOE) with the presence of Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU as well as respective school principals, teachers, and Yang DiPertua Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG).
The programme, which is also known as ‘Program Sekolah Generasi Multimedia’ aimed at elevating the strength of Digital Education Transformation, STEM and Innovation among school students.The adopted schools are SMK Putra Perdana, Selangor; SMK Seri Kembangan, Selangor; SMK Bandar Puncak Jalil, Selangor; SMK Seri Saujana, Kuala Lumpur; SMK Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur; SMK Seri Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur; SMK Agama Slim River, Perak; SMK Seri Perak, Perak; SMK Changlun, Kedah; SMK Seberang Jaya Pulau Pinang; SMK Dang Anum, Melaka; SM Sains Muzaffar Syah, Melaka; dan SM Sains Muar, Johor. It is hoped that this initiative will foster future digital talents and leaders for our nation.
