YUM Receives Zakat Wakalah Contribution from BIMB

On 21 February 2022, Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) received Zakat Wakalah contribution amounting of RM5,000 from Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB). Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU received the mock cheque on behalf of YUM from Mr. Mohamed Zaki Atip, Regional Administrator, Central Region 2 of BIMB in a ceremony that was held in Cyberjaya.

The contribution will be fully utilised in helping to ease the financial burden of less fortunate students. Also attending the event were Dr. Mohd Rizal Abdul Razak, the covering Director of YUM, representatives from BIMB namely Mr. Kamaruzaman  Ishak, State Deposit Manager; Mohammad Aliff Omar, Deposit Manager (Corporate), as well as YUM officers.
