Multimedia University (MMU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Idea Company Sdn Bhd (ICSB) on 16 February 2022 in Cyberjaya. The MoU document was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU, and Mr. Ahmad Zachry Anifah Aman, the Group CEO of ICSB.
Through the pact, various collaborations will be explored between MMU through the Faculty of Management (FOM) and the Alumni Engagement, Career and Entrepreneurship Development (ACED) Department with ICSB’s subsidiary, JustGood Group. Several initiatives are currently being planned, including designing and implementing a multifaceted workforce training programme, embedding industrial exposure in the classroom, providing internship and job placements for MMU students and alumni as well as conducting relevant research activities.
The MoU also helped to strengthen MMU’s collaborations with industry players for the benefit of the MMU community. The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ho Chin Kuan, Vice President of Academic and International Relations; Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abd Rahim, Dean of FOM; Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, Director of ACED and ICSB delegate members.
