Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Ir Dr. Abdul Rahim Hj. Daud, our former member of the Board of Directors and Board of Governor of MMU was feted at an appreciation high tea event on 15 February 2022 in Putrajaya. The event was to honour and appreciate the contribution and support given by Dato’ Rahim to the university even before its inception, twenty-five years ago. Dato’ Rahim served as Member MMU Board of Director from 2001 until 2018, and Member MMU Board of Governor from 2019 until 2021.
Dato’ Rahim was one of the key persons involved with the establishment of the university. He also emphasised on the MMU’s presence and must be exposed in the global arena and now MMU is listed in the world university rankings. The event was also graced by the presence of YBhg Tan Sri Dr. Rahamat Bivi Yusoff, Chairman of Board of Governors, and Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU. Before the event ended, Dato’ Rahim also delivered his remarks to the audience in the event.
We owe you a tremendous debt of gratitude for your unwavering support to MMU until we are now standing as one of the leading universities in Malaysia.
