A group of ‘Tekno Daie’ trainees of Yayasan Dakwah Islamiah Malaysia (DMY) completed their two-week training programme in Cyberjaya campus, recently. The programme was organised by Yayasan Islamiah Malaysia (YADIM) and in collaboration with Multimedia University (MMU) through its Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) and TV Al-Hijrah, aimed at producing young ‘Daie’ who are skilled in creating and publishing videos. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, the President of MMU was invited to deliver his remarks at the closing ceremony on 2 December 2021.
For this programme, MMU has designed a special module to meet the aspects and needs of YADIM as well as current trends. The participants were trained with modules in terms of technology that include the pre-production phase to production and post-production. Also attending the closing ceremony were Ustaz Nasrudin Hasan, Yang Dipertua of YADIM; Tuan Kamarul Arief Tuan Soh, Chief Executive Officer of YADIM; Captain (R) Shamsudin Moner, YADIM Senior Director of Training and Cadre Sector; Mr. Muhammad Syahmi Abdul Aziz, Course Director cum FCM lecturer, representatives from TV Al-Hijrah and MMU officers.
