Two virtual engagement sessions with scholars of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Master of Business (EMBA) as well as alumni were held by the Faculty of Management (FOM), recently. The sessions kicked off with the opening remarks from Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abd Rahim, Dean of FOM and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Magiswary A/P Dorasamy, the Deputy Dean of the faculty.

The first event featured a sharing session from two alumni who graduated with MBA namely Ms. Shaleni Vassu and Ms Nor Safura Jaafar and Mr. A B Muneem Mamtaz Meah, who graduated from EMBA programme. The session was also attended by Dr. Ruzanna Razak, Deputy Dean Academic; Dr. Nasreen Khan, Head of PG Programmes; Dr. Junainah Mahdee, Head of ODL; Dr. Adepapo Oluwaseyi Ojo, Programme Coordinator of MBA; and Ms Salmi Md Zahid, Programme Coordinator of EMBA.

While the second session featured Dr. Kasuma Satria, AEON Chief Human Resource officer, who graduated from the DBA programme to share his journey and learning experience at his alma mater. He also enlightened on how his research has contributed to his company’s strategic advantage.  He also emphasised on getting the DBA qualification helped him for his career advancement. The session was also attended by the other DBA scholar, Mr. Arasu A/L M. Thangaveloo. He shared his valuable experience on the dissertation journey from proposal defence to work completion seminar with the other participants. Dr. Nor Hazlin Ismail, the DBA programme coordinator also attended the session.  The events ended with exciting lucky draws, where winners received RM50 grab vouchers.
