FCI Lecturer Clinches “Best Presenter Award” in the 6th International Conference on Soft Computing in Data Science 2021

Mr. Tong Gee Kok, academic staff from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) clinched the “Best Presenter Award” in the 6^th International Conference on Soft Computing in Data Science 2021 (SCDS 2021) on 3 November 2021. Mr. Tong presented his paper entitled ‘Construction of Optimal Stock Market Portfolios Using Outlier Detection Algorithm’ at the virtual conference.

The conference was hosted by the Institute for Big Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (IBDAAI) Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), with the collaboration of the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (UiTM), Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia, and Research Nexus (UiTM). The conference had attracted participants from universities, government agencies, and industries.
