A total of 18 students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) participated in the FOM Virtual Talent Show, recently. The competition was divided into three categories: vocal performance, dance performance, and musical instrument performance. Nine winners for all categories were announced during the closing ceremony of the talent show.
Adjusting to the new norms, virtual judging was incorporated in this competition whereby the winners were decided based on the evaluation of pre-recorded videos submitted prior to the Grand Finale. The judging was done by a panel of 15 judges – consisting of 8 lecturers and 7 students with Ms. Putri Nurul ‘Aainaa Rusli and Farhah Addini Mohammad Fauzi as the head of judges.
This event was organised for the first time with the objective of becoming a platform to discover FOM students’ talents and as a medium of stress-relief and source of entertainment among the community. The organiser extended their utmost gratitude to the FOM Outreach team members for their commitment in helping to make the event successful as well as to the faculty Dean, Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abdul Rahim for officiating and supporting the event.
