A total of 65 participants attended a webinar session entitled ‘Secrets to Graduate on Time (GOT) for Postgraduates’, recently. Organised by Centre of Business Excellence (COBE) and the Faculty of Management (FOM) Postgraduate Office, the session was conducted by Prof. Dr. Norzaidi Mohd Daud from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Prof. Nor Zaidi is our alumnus, and he is also an adjunct professor at MMU. Also attending the session were Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abdul Rahim, Dean of FOM; Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Magiswary Dorasamy, Deputy Dean of Research and Industrial Collaboration and academic staff.
Prof. Dr. Norzaidi Mohd Daud shared tips to postgraduate participants on how to graduate on time. The tips covered were on choosing the right research design, formulating research objectives, synthesizing literature reviews, choosing methodologies, discussing the findings, and making an impactful conclusion of the thesis. The participants were supportive and raised some questions to the speaker on issues in thesis writing. This webinar session has inspired postgraduate students to work smart in their journey to graduate on time.
