More than 50 participants from both public and private varsities attended a one-day seminar by the Malaysia Sustainable University Campus Network (MYSUN) Multimedia University team. The seminar aimed to brief the important elements in sustainability on campus by MYSUN partners. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Kim Geok, team leader of MYSUN MMU kicked off the seminar by enlightening on the ongoing activities and projects as well as future activities under MYSUN. Dr. Yeo Sook Fern, Deputy Dean of Research & Industrial Collaborations, Faculty of Business (FOB) also shared her experiences on the data collection process on Malaysian campus sustainability among MYSUN partners and other Malaysian varsities.
Among other invited speakers were Mr. Zulhilmi Mohd Shah (Registered Electrical Energy Manager, FMD, MMU), Ms. Noridayu Che Ani (Assistant Country Manager, iCYCLE Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koo Ah Choo, and Mr. Cheng Kin Meng (Edcraft Team), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chong Chin Wei and Ms. Tan Xin Yee (Faculty of Management). During the seminar, several interests were being raised by the participants and answered by the speakers. It was a great and insightful session for everyone.
