Six trainers from the Faculty of Management (FOM) namely Assoc Prof Dr. Ong Hway-Boon, Assoc Prof Dr. Tan Siow Hooi, Dr. Tan Siow Kian, Dr. Choon Shay Wei, and Dr. Chong Lee Lee were invited to deliver leadership skills modules to 200 school prefects from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Seri Kembangan, recently.
Apart from that, the students also had engagement sessions in small group discussions facilitated by a group of FOM dedicated staff; Dr. Yap Voon Choong, Dr. Teh Boon Heng, Dr. Thai Siew Bee, Dr. Noor Ashikin, Dr. Nguyen Lan, Dr. Aravindran, Dr. Sunita, Dr. Tan Chuie Hong, Dr. Shereen, Dr. Nasreen, Dr. Goh Han Hwa, Mdm Nor Hazleza, Mdm Putri Nurul’Aainaa, and Mdm Putri Nurul Izza.
The students learned about creative problem-solving skills, effective learning skills, positive psychology, effective communication, time and money management, and analytical skills through the sharing and online activities conducted during the group discussions. It was a great sharing and an active engagement digital leadership camp for the students.
