Dr. Yuen Yee Yen, an academician from the Faculty of Business was invited as a key speaker for the first Innovation and Research-based Learning (INREAL) Webinar 1/2021 on 25 June 2021. More than 200 local and Indonesian participants attended the webinar, which was conducted under SOCSO’s Return to Work (RTW). The webinar was officiated by the Head of RTW department, Madam Rosmawati Mat.
INREAL 2021 is a research-sharing platform and exchanging of ideas for disability management issues in Malaysia. INREAL 2021 participation is required for Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) certificate holders to maintain and renew their CDMP certificate. During the webinar, Dr. Yuen and his research team members namely Dr. Wendy Teoh Ming Yen, Dr. Suganthi Ramasamy, Dr. Lew Sook Ling, and Dr. Liew Tze Wei proposed a comprehensive RTW roadmap to assist SOCSO and private sectors to secure job participation of talented employees with disabilities after occupational injuries.
