250 Students Receive Food Aid from UCTC

University Community Transformation Centre (UCTC) through its Welfare Unit facilitated to distribute of food aid on weekly basis in June 2021. A total of 250 students received the food aid as they were stranded at on and off-campus accommodations and are unable to go back during the lockdown period. The welfare unit is responsible to collect donations and ensure the aid reached the students.

Among the bodies that contributed to this effort were Abdullah Initiatives, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Kembara Kitchen, Surau Al Hidayah (MMU Cyberjaya), and individuals from Cyberjaya community. On top of that, hygiene kits were also provided to the students, which was contributed by Mercy Malaysia, Melaka Chapter. This initiative was successfully completed and the organiser thanked those who are generously donated to help the students amid this challenging time.
