MMU Channels Aid to Communities

A total of 208 recipients and 73 students received food assistance through several programmes led by MMU volunteer team, Sahabat Sukarelawan. The programmes included Sebakul Senyuman Ramadan 2021 at DUN Gadek, Program Tanya Khabar, Semarak Syawal for B40 staff and Raya Food Distribution to students in Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses.

The programmes were funded by a public contribution worth RM9,000 in an effort to help needy community for their Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations. Dr. Mohd Rizal Abdul Razak, the Melaka campus director extended the assistance for those in Melaka, while Prof. Dr. Ir. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Research, Industrial Collaborations and Engagement presented the aid to the recipients in Selangor. The events were also assisted by 35 volunteers.
