Multimedia University (MMU) co-hosted the 2020 IEEE International Symposium on Telecommunication Technologies (ISTT2020) Conference together with the IEEE Malaysia Communication Society and Vehicular Technology Society and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in November 2020. The conference was officiated by Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Research and Innovation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mardeni from the Faculty of Engineering (FOE), who is also, the General Chair of the conference also delivered his welcoming remarks to the participants.
The conference had a strong and dedicated team that consists of academicians from different varsities, which was led by Dr. Mardeni together with another two committees from FOE namely Mr. Khairil Anuar and Dr. Azwan Mahmud. With this year’s theme “Emerging Technologies in IoT and 5G”, the virtual conference gathered international delegates from Germany, China, Turkey, New Zealand, China, Philippines, Jordan, and India. The conference has significantly added value to the further research of communications and in particular, enables scientists and researchers to expose to the latest developments and advancements in the technology and process related to telecommunications.
