Siti Arina Sahul Hameed, our student from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) won the third prize under Illustration category in the Maybank MyTiger Values Art Competition 2020, recently. With her artwork ‘Manifestation’, Siti Arina received a cash prize of RM2,000. On top of that, six entries from FCM students were also chosen as Finalists for the same category. The students were supervised by Mr. Rini Fauzan and Mdm Ellyna Hashim.
The competition served as an avenue for young talents of higher educations to demonstrate their talent and creativity, with three main categories namely Illustration, Sequential Art, and Photo Imaging. The response from the participants was overwhelmed when over 400 entries were submitted across the nation. Due to COVID-19 situation, the exhibition was held virtually and it can be viewed at Maybank’s Virtual Gallery. May this competition will continue to encourage other students to express their creative work and talent to the fullest!
