Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) in collaboration with Huawei Technologies Malaysia (Sdn Bhd) once again successfully organised the Huawei Connected Campus 2020 which was held at Dewan Tun Canselor on 10 February 2020.
The event was officiated by YABhg. Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki, Chancellor of MMU and attended by Mr. Zhu Rui, Huawei Human Resource Director, Southern Pacific Region Office and Talent Acquisition Department and Datin Noorlindah Hassan, Director of YUM. More than 300 MMU students from all three campuses, Cyberjaya, Melaka, and Iskandar Puteri participated in the exciting and enriching event.
The event then proceeded with a talk reviewing Business Insight which was delivered by Vice President, Sales Marketing of Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Mr. Zac Chow. The talk focused more on marketing and business insights, advice, and experiences about Huawei, the industry and how we can make full use of technology and IoT. The second talk was delivered by Mr. Zhu Rui. In his talk, he stressed more on the human resources point of view as well as providing tips and tricks in handling interview assessment.
Besides the technology and career consultation talks, there were also sharing session from MMU Alumni pertinent to their working experience with Huawei as well as various exciting activities such as Kahoot interactive online games and product showcase. The lucky draw prizes which comprised of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro, GT2 and Huawei Talk Band B5 were also highly anticipated by the audience. The event ended with an interactive Q&A session.
