FOE Researchers Win Gold Medal at BiiDE Exhibition

We are proud to share that Dr. Samir Salem Al-Bawri, a post-doctoral researcher fellow together with Prof. Dr. Md Shabiul Islam and Prof. Ir. Dr. Wong Hin Yong from the Faculty of Engineering (FOE) made us proud by winning a gold medal at the Breakthrough Invention, Innovation & Design Exhibition (BiiDE) at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Pahang recently.

Their project entitled “Localization Estimation Techniques using Single Base Station Antenna for 4G/5G Wireless Network” defeated more than 100 groups from different states including Sarawak, Selangor, Kelantan, Melaka, Kedah, and Perak. The competition served as an avenue for academics, professionals, government and private bodies, university students as well as Malaysian secondary and primary school students in showcasing their products and ideas.
